Privacy policy
What we collect on this site, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. The short version: the contact form is the only thing that asks for your information, and we only use it to reply.

01Who we are
This website, aceddev.com, is operated by ACED LLC, a software studio based in Springfield, Missouri, United States. In this policy, “ACED,” “we,” and “us” mean ACED LLC. “You” means anyone who visits this site or contacts us through it.
This policy covers this website only. Our products (for example KoalifyHQ, VA Claim Net, eSign Center, and Chore Lock) each have their own privacy policy published on their own site or app listing.
Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
02What we collect
Information you send us
The only place this site asks you for information is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your company name, if you choose to give it;
- the kind of project you selected from the list;
- the message you wrote.
If you email us directly instead, we receive whatever you include in that email, along with the normal email headers.
Information collected automatically
This site does not use cookies, and we do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps. Those logs are used to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
When we enable spam protection on the contact form, it is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile may evaluate signals from your browser to decide whether a submission is automated. It does not require you to solve a puzzle and does not track you across other sites.
03How we use it
We use the information you send through the contact form to:
- reply to you about the project you described;
- prepare a scope, estimate, or proposal if you ask for one;
- keep a record of our conversation while we work together or consider working together.
We do not add you to a mailing list, send newsletters, or send marketing email because you filled out the form. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Our legal basis for handling this information, where one is required, is that you asked us to contact you (performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
04How your message gets to us
Contact form submissions are processed on Cloudflare’s infrastructure and delivered to our inbox at [email protected] as an email sent through Postmark, a transactional email service. These providers handle your submission on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, serves it over HTTPS, runs the form handler, and provides optional spam protection.
- Postmark transmits the form contents to our email inbox.
- Our email provider stores the resulting email like any other message we receive.
We do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, we are required to by law, or it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
05How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as they are useful to the conversation they started. If we never work together, we delete or archive the message within two years of the last exchange. If we do work together, the message becomes part of the project record and is kept for as long as we keep that record, typically seven years after the project ends for accounting and legal reasons.
Server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained on a rolling basis according to that provider’s standard schedule and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
06Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or certain U.S. states), we honor those rights to the extent they apply. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
You can use this site without providing any information at all. The contact form is optional, and you can always email us instead.
07Security
This site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection, validated on the server, and delivered only to our own inbox. Access to that inbox is limited to ACED team members who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we use providers and practices appropriate to a business contact form.
08Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 through it. If you believe a child has sent us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
09Analytics and future changes
We do not currently use analytics or cookies on this site. We may add a privacy-focused analytics tool in the future to understand how the site is used. If we do, we will update this policy, describe what the tool collects, and provide a way to opt out where one is required.
When this policy changes, we update the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted here for at least 30 days.
